Custom C&C Drum Kit.

I had this kit made for more powerful styles of playing, I went for bigger sizes and the kit sounds super punchy. It has a red sparkle finish and looks stunning under stage lights.

1960's Beverly Drums.

I found this kit in a store room at my old college and immediately bought it off them. It is a Beverly which was the old name of Premier. I re skinned it and replaced the lugs. This gives a much softer, yet boomier sound in comparison to my C&C, and is perfect for lighter styles of playing, and has the famous Marine Pearl finish, like that of Ringo Star's Ludwig.

Snares.

I have a few different snare drums, but tend to always use the C&C Custom Snare. It is a 1-ply 14x7 wooden snare with fun hoops. It has enough bottom end to make your body rumble, but enough crack on it to be suitable for pop situations.

Ludwig Rocker Snare - 14x6.5 chrome.

Cymbals.

When it comes to cymbals, I much prefer the big sizes. Now endorsed by Paiste Cymbals, I am starting to use the 2002 range with the Bonham-replica 24" Giant Beat as the ride, which is approaching it's second year on tour without a crack! My previous endorsement was with Sabian, so I still use a few Sabians in my set up.

Electronics and Monitoring.

I understand the importance of running clicks and tracks during the live show. I have a 15" Macbook Pro running Ableton Live. I also have a 2 octave M Audio MIDI Keyboard to play any extra parts needed.

For triggering samples, I run a Yamaha DTX-Multi 12. Whether it just be for a sub bass on a chorus, or a whole section of backing vocals, it can be triggered by a simple hit of a pad. Electonic beats can also be played with sticks on here. This can also be used with external triggers.

AKAI MPC 1000 AKAI MPC 1000

For any samples or electronic beats that would be better played with hand, I have an AKAI MPC 1000. This is great for hip hop or cut up samples that need to sound more glitchy.

Senheiser IEMs Senheiser IEMs

I have my own in-ear monitoring system for shows when this is an option. I run Senheiser W300 Wireless System and UE5 IEMs.
