My C&C Custom Kit on tour with The Wombats.Custom C&C Drum Kit.
I had this kit made for more powerful styles of playing, I went for bigger sizes and the kit sounds super punchy. It has a red sparkle finish and looks stunning under stage lights.

My vintage Beverly Kit on tour with Editors.1960's Beverly Drums.
I found this kit in a store room at my old college and immediately bought it off them. It is a Beverly which was the old name of Premier. I re
skinned it and replaced the lugs. This gives a much softer, yet boomier sound in comparison to my C&C, and is perfect for lighter styles of playing, and has the
famous Marine Pearl finish, like that of Ringo Star's Ludwig.

My C&C and Ludwig snares on a video shoot.Snares.
I have a few different snare drums, but tend to always use the C&C Custom Snare. It is a 1-ply 14x7 wooden snare with fun hoops. It has enough bottom end to make your body rumble, but enough crack on it to be suitable for pop situations.
C&C Custom Snare - 14x7 birch 1ply w/ wooden hoops.
Ludwig Rocker Snare - 14x6.5 chrome.
Pearl Chad Smith Signature Snare - 14x5.5

My 19" AAX Crash Soundchecking at Glasgow, King TutsCymbals.
When it comes to cymbals, I much prefer the big sizes. Now endorsed by Paiste Cymbals, I am starting to use the 2002 range with the Bonham-replica 24" Giant Beat as the ride, which is approaching it's second year on tour without a crack! My previous endorsement was with Sabian, so I still use a few Sabians in my set up.
