P R E  O R D E R   H E R E

Last night I got back from the month long Summer Camp UK and European tour. It is the first full tour I have done with the band as the summer had been so full of festivals and one off shows. Their debut album came out just as we set off on tour and as the tour went on, the shows got busier and busier, selling out one by one. We added a lot more songs to the set from the debut album a few days prior to touring which made for a great change. We headed off to europe for the bands first mainland tour, so none of us knew what to expect. Pretty much more of the same really with all the shows being full to capacity.

A hugely enjoyable tour for all of us. Now, for a week off!

I've just got back from Italy with Summer Camp. We played a show in Rome and one in Bologna. It was the bands first time playing in Italy so we were all pleased when both shows were so well attended.

We got time to go visit the Coliseum and eat our body weight in pizza too, so I was more then happy!

We're planning on heading back over very soon, and based on these two shows, it will be a very sucessful trip.

Straight from China, I headed of to Holland with Brontide for a one off show in Leeuwarden, a few hours north of Amsterdam. It is the first time Brontide have played a show abroad so we were excited to see how we would go down.

The venue we played was a 500 capacity room in an old prison. Some of the cells had been converted into studios and offices. Another great example of how creative and artistic everyone is in mainland Europe. 

The show went really well, but ended in a 10 hour over night drive back to the UK for an afternoon festival appearance with Summer Camp!

In October, I depped for the "Chew Lips" drummer for a show in Beijing, China as part of "China Fashion Week". It was very exciting to get the chance to go to Beijing to play a show. 2 days in China doesn't do wonders for the jet lag though!
