Here are a selection of videos of rehearsals, TV Sessions, and live shows from the last few years of touring. As you can see by the different videos, I like diversity in my playing, from pop, to folk, to math/post rock, as it keeps me on my toes, and (I feel) improves me as a musician.

Lexus Commercial 16/10/10.

Lexus recently filmed an advert for their new hybrid car, with the phrase "Join The Quiet Revolution". They hired a lot of drummers to play around different parts of London, and it was my job to play on a roof top in East London at 6am. It was a pleasure playing with two great drummers Sarah Jones (New Young Pony Club, Bat for Lashes, Kele) and Olly Betts (The Duke Spirit).

The first video is an interview with me, and the second is the advert. Blink and you'll miss it!

La Roux, Vevo Session, Times Square, New York, 16/11/10.

Before we rounded off our 2 year world tour with a sold out show at New York's "Terminal 5", we went into the Renaissance Hotel in Times Square to perform an unplugged session for "Vevo".  The usual La Roux live set up is completely synthetic, so we decided to go completely the other way with this session and play the songs in their most exposed form.

Brontide, Matador music video, 22/01/11

This was the first single to be taken from the Brontide abum Sans Souci. The video was done by Charlotte Knight who projected images of her family from the 1950's on to us. The song is a loop based song, but this was filmed to playback.

La Roux on T4 Stars of 2009, Channel 4, 29/11/09.

This video was filmed in November 2009 at T4 Stars of 2009. We performed the track Bulletproof which went Number 1 in June of the same year. This show was at Earls Court Arena and was aired live on Channel 4.

Drum Rehearsals, 12/09/08.

Back when I lived up in Nottinghamshire, I used to practice in an primary school when all the teachers and pupils had gone home, and the cleaners were cleaning! I wrote a lot of my drum parts for Brontide in this room, and also practiced a lot of my Bright Light, Bright Light parts. This video is me playing my drum parts for the Brontide song MFBT.

La Roux on Christmas Top Of The Pops, BBC1, 25/12/09.

Here is the footage of me performing Christmas Top of The Pops with La Roux. We turned up to the filming and everyone was taking it far too seriously. We decided to go the other way and dress as christmas characters. I chose the elf...a good choice, I'm sure you'll agree?! I play an electronic set up with La Roux. They wanted the set up to look more like an electronic percussion rig, so I play standing up, with the kick drum on a backing track. This performance with Vocals to track, as are all top of the pops performances. This Youtube video has flipped over, I am not playing left handed.

Just click Watch on YouTube when it pops up.

Brontide's "Sans Souci (Illuminé).

This is a session we recorded for Beatcast TV. The idea was to perform our debut album in 1 take from start to finish and film it as a teaser for the the album, which came out the week after. The video was recorded in Kent at Coach Road Sturdios.

Guitar - Tim Hancock,

Bass - Nathan Fairweather.

I Was A Cub Scout, Pink Squares music video, 20/11/07

Here is the video for Pink Squares by I Was A Cub Scout, directed by the wonderful Bugsy and Ross at One In Three. This was a long day filming in November 2007, from 6am until about midnight, and the day before my first european tour. The video is very drum heavy, which made for a busy day, which for drummers in a music video is usually unheard of. There were loads of snare drums on the shoot, and a scene on a revolving wheel where I have to hit all the drums, a hightlight of the day to say the least!

Vox - Todd Marriott

Jim Moray at BBC Folk Awards 2009, 02/02/09.

This video is the Jim Moray performance at the 2009 BBC Folk Awards. Jim was up for a number of awards, and was asked to perform his later-that-night award winning rendition of Andy Partridge's All You Pretty Girls. We hired a brass section for the day, and Jim asked a lot of his friends and family on to the stage to sing the backing vocals! I was in control of the laptop and track for this song.

Vox - Jim Moray

Violin - James Delare

Box - Nick Cooke

Summer Camp at Brixton Academy, London 2011

At the end of 2011, we supported The Vaccines at Brixton Academy. It was the end of our UK and European tour and Brixton academy was a great way to go out. I trigger the backing tracks of a Roland SPDS and mute/trigger the drums parts through a guitar tuner. It's a lot to think about but a system that works very well, and was great fun to come up with.

Vox and Samples - Elizabeth Sankey

Vox and Guitar - Jeremy Warmsley
