As sad as it is to say, touring and playing shows can become a little blasé sometimes. It is very easy not to appreciate what you are doing and the experiences one gets in this profession. Then something comes a long which makes you feel like a kid again. This came this month when Brontide were asked to support Thrice. Thrice were one of my biggest influences growing up and it was such an honour to be personally asked to open for them at their final London show before they split up at the HMV Forum in Kentish Town.
The show was the biggest that Brontide had ever played, but we work well under pressure, so we had nothing to worry about (!!!)
All there really is to say is thank you, and R.I.P Thrice.
